Our Cane Corso's - Rowe and Lula
Rowe is a big beautiful blue brindle male with a huge head and growing(still buying him bigger collars every 2-3 months) that weighs approximately 122lbs and is built like a tank that has given greyhounds a run for their money in an all out sprint at the dog park. His bloodlines/pedigree consist of Bel Monte, Scandifio, Avalanche(his grand-sire is Avalanches Maximum Diesel out of N.C. and his great-great-great-great grand-sire is Ch. Bel Monte's Rocco to name a couple) He is the most amazing dog I've ever owned!
I've never seen a dog go from "little softy teddy bear with my 3yr old little girl" to "Ferocious Protector" in .003 seconds when there's a knock at the door(and without ever even accidentally knocking her over!). Once we realized how true he was to every breed description we ever researched for Cane Corso's, we knew we needed to find the perfect female for him to keep this type of temperament/stability and movement going. Rowe trots like a show horse, sprints like a cheetah and has the jumping ability of a gazelle! He regularly jumps up and looks over a 6.5 foot high block wall to be nosy yet never leaves his property while it would be no problem. Luckily the neighbors are used to him now. And most importantly, he is the biggest mush in the world with his family, especially the little ones.
So, this led us to our search to finally find Lula. She is a beautiful black brindle female that practically floats when she moves. Her bloodlines are directly from Ch. Bayron(La Valle dei Lord) in Italy(her grand-sire and back to "Jones") via Dastin & Kyra of Millreef Cane Corso(thanks for all your help Clint!). Lula is the biggest lover in the world till she hears something outside, but she's a little slower than Rowe(about .004 seconds) Oh and she talks too(pictured below.)
